Caden Sitting Up

Over the weekend Caden started sitting up on his own with no pillows or support. Hopefully now that he has learned to sit up he will start sleeping at night. The past few weeks have been one sleepless night after another. But look at how cute he is!!

Great Aloha Run

On President's Day this year, and every year since I moved to Hawaii, I ran the Great Aloha Run. I think there are about 20,000 people who enter and run it. No one takes it very seriously but it is a lot of fun. The first year I ran it, I met my small group at the finish line. We all participated, some walked and some ran. The second year I ran it with Kev and Jen. This year I ran it by myself :( since everyone from the previous years have move back to the mainland. I did however get to meet my husband and kids at the finish line. I also finished with my best time. 1 hour and 16 minutes for 8.15 miles. I did my training with the double stroller but ran the race without it.

Caden at 5 months

Caden is growing each day! He is doing so much just at 5 months. He's started playing wih toys and interacting with Cody, he's rolling over and almost sitting up. He is 20 pounds and grows a little more everyday. He is such a social baby and loves to be around other people and loves to get his diaper changed. I know it sounds funny but he smiles and giggles when he gets wiped with a baby wipe.
